The Museum of Antiquities is a unique collection of ancient and medieval antiquities at the University of Saskatchewan. The primary purpose of the Museum is to foster awareness of the larger fabric of culture into which our Canadian and provincial heritage is woven. This is done through the collection, preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of original and replica sculpture, pottery, coinage, and other artefacts which illustrate the artistic accomplishments, material culture, and history of the ancient and medieval worlds.
The Museum offers an array of educational programming for kids including monthly Crafternoons throughout the school year, and the popular Ancient & Medieval Adventures Camps during the summer months, which cover various cultures throughout history and brings the past to life through engaging, hands-on learning activities such as games, crafts, and storytelling.
